Alana De La Garza is a beautiful actress that has left a lasting impression on the tiny screen. Her parents are Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. Then she began moving to Texas where she pursued the field of physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for very long, and she quickly moved into Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of parts as an actor, such as local independent films and commercials. Despite the small role, she found acting as her true interest. Then she moved into New York and in 2001 she got her first acting gig in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000 she appeared in minor roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in the year 2004, on the underrated film The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV celebrities like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount, and Mitch Pileggi. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. She then migrated to the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. The actress was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring character. She was Marisol Deko, as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC after only two episodes.
